Chicago Area DotNetNuke Users Group Convention

The Chicago area DotNetNuke Users Group is a group in Chicago that supports users both individual and organizations, developers and other related users of DotNetNuke and those that develop websites for DotNetNuke too. The convention is run by professional based in Chicago and other locations but the User Group is based in Chicago where it holds its meetings and workshops. DotNetNuke is an open source web management system that is based on Miscosoft.NET technology and written in VB.NET. The system allows its users be able to create a personal look and feel to their websites. They can also add content and customize it using DotNetNuke. There are about 8, 000 apps that can be accessed at selected apps store and be purchased for use with this system.
The convention is organized with an aim of attracting more members to it by registration and addressing issues like use of the DotNetNuke system to add some personal touches to websites, teach people/members how to purchase the apps available to add value using the system, and for those that are new, they are taught how to build websites and so on. The convention runs a website through which they communicate with the members and let them where and when meetings are held.
