Video Game Summit 2011 To Be Held In Chicago

The Video Game Summit that is going to be held in Chicago on the July 16th 2011 from 11am to 6pm is the eighth one since it began about 8 years ago. It is going to be held at the Heron Point Convention Center, 665 West North Avenue, Lombard, IL which is adjacent to the Fairfield Inn and Suites hotel. The event brings together both the classic and modern generation gamers from around the country to share stories, mingle with each other, exchange games and even compete at sanctioned tournaments and raffle games.
The event is generally open to the public with admission of about 3.00 per person. There are booths which consist of three 2×5 tables , 2 side tables and one front one all going for 25.00. Registration began in November 6th, 2010 and still continuing. All enthusiasts of all ages of computers and games are welcomed to come and learn from other like minded people and even probably make money. There will be memorabilia that is on offer for exchange and if you might be having vintage game equipment that is being sort for, like an Atari cartridge, you could just sell it or exchange for something more modern and usable for you.
